Unos 2,3 millones de venezolanos han salido de su país desde el 2015. Esto representa un 7% de la población, según cifras entregadas por la ONU a propósito de la crisis económica y política que vive Venezuela por cuenta de la dictadura de la “Revolución Bonita” de Hugo Chávez y de su sucesor, el genocida Nicolás Maduro.

En los últimos cuatro años hemos visto a un pueblo sometido, casi asfixiado por las ideas socialistas, que lo han llevado a tener una hiperinflación estimada para este año en 10.000.000% por el Fondo Monetario Internacional. Su población muere de hambre y ha venido luchando y superviviendo sola, ante los ojos cómplices de gobiernos de todo el mundo que solo hasta ahora se toman en serio la tarea de unirse y buscar salidas “diplomáticas” para la liberación de Venezuela.

El error ha sido de todos, pero en mayor medida, ha sido de aquellos que han apoyado una corriente ideológica que lleva a las sociedades al fracaso y que miran con admiración las figuras representativas del socialismo en distintos países.

El multimillonario británico Richard Branson, promotor del concierto en la frontera colombo-venezolana al que se han unidos varios artistas importantes, en 2017 tenía una afinidad distinta a la de ser opositor de las dictaduras marxistas. Tras un viaje a Cuba, dijo sentirse “encantado” por haber conocido a Fidel Antonio Castro Smirnov, nieto de Fidel Castro.

El magnate británico reconoció ante medios de comunicación su admiración por el régimen que en esa fecha era evidentemente uno de los principales “patrocinadores” de la dictadura de Nicolás Maduro, cuya barbarie sistemática ocasionaba para ese entonces la muerte de unas 5.000 personas a manos de la policía y el ejército venezolano.

Branson, cercano al multimillonario George Soros, financiador de ideas anarquistas disfrazadas de “derechos” en muchos países del mundo como Estados Unidos, Hungría, Albania, Macedonia, Colombia, entre otros, hoy muestra un rostro diferente con la cual pretende ‘limpiar’ su postura y pedirle al mundo, ahora sí, que mire a Venezuela.

No podría afirmar que estoy en contra de esta iniciativa, donde el modelo ‘Live Aid’ ha ayudado desde los años 80 a centenares de personas alrededor del mundo y ha despertado nuestra empatía con países que atraviesan crisis humanitarias que jamás debieran repetirse.

Sin embargo, para liderar este tipo de causas hay que ser consecuente entre los actos y las ideas; pueda ser que Richard Branson logre hacer un reconocimiento de lo venenoso que resulta para la humanidad exaltar regímenes políticos nefastos, que han servido de inspiración para someter y disminuir naciones que podrían aportar mucho más a sus regiones, en lugar de ser motores de desplazamiento, hambruna y muerte.

En el evento se espera recaudar US$ 100 millones como ayuda humanitaria y presionar al gobierno de Nicolás Maduro a permitir su ingreso.

Que el ‘Venezuela Aid Live’ sirva entonces también, para recoger el dinero que necesitará Juan Guaidó para mantener su gobierno de transición, o por lo menos, darle un respiro para enfrentar un régimen narco que sigue siendo protegido por la izquierda mundial incluido el Papa Francisco, que sin ruborizarse y desde el Vaticano anunció que mantendría una postura de “neutralidad humanitaria”. Cabría reflexionar  hasta dónde las ideas equívocas contaminan principios no negociables como el respeto a la dignidad humana.
