Exigimos a Cancillería una Visa Humanitaria para responder a crisis de migrantes venezolanos
La situación de crisis que padece Venezuela, merece contundente repudio, tanto de los gobiernos del mundo, como de las sociedades democráticas.
Ayer, durante la plenaria de Cámara, denuncié el ataque con bomba de gas lacrimógeno a María Corina Machado (ex diputada venezolana y líder de la oposición) y el asesinato de Euribe Ventura (25 años) en Altavista (Guayana), Paola Ramírez Gómez (23 años) en Táchira y Carlos José Moreno (19 años) en San Bernardino, producidos por la Guardia venezolana durante la legítima protesta que se desarrolló durante todo el día en el vecino país.
Son condenables estos hechos, que atribuí a la consecuencia natural de los regímenes oprobiosos que se adueñan del poder, de un país y de la vida y destino de las personas.
El gobierno de Juan Manuel Santos y la Cancillería, deben dar un tratamiento especial a los venezolanos en Colombia, porque las políticas migratorias aplicadas son absolutamente violatorias de los convenios internacionales sobre refugiados.
Deploré que Colombia no haya ofrecido a los migrantes una visa especial humanitaria, que categorice a los migrantes y organice su atención con miras a ofrecer una estabilidad laboral y económica, como sí lo ha hecho Perú.
Después de mi pronunciamiento en plenaria, me uní en compañía del ex presidente Alvaro Uribe, a la protesta de los venezolanos en Bogotá, durante la cual los conminé a no dar un paso atrás en su lucha, recordando la dignidad atropellada de la juez Afiuni, encarcelada por el régimen dictatorial de Hugo Chávez y quién aún hoy permanece en etapa de juicio bajo la dictadura de Nicolás Maduro.
